Les Schlais began his career in financial services in 1989 after learning there was an incredible demand for life insurance and wealth building products.  He started his career with Farmers Insurance Group and was with Farmers for 8½ years. In that time he accomplished the highest award recognized by Farmers and became a “Life Champion.” The last 6 months of his career at Farmers Insurance Group he was the #1 life insurance producer in the United States of America. That was a significant accomplishment being that Farmers Insurance Group had at that time over 12,000 agents!

Les had truly reached the top with Farmers and realized he wanted to do more to help the families of America achieve financial independence. His next step was to learn how to duplicate himself and teach other agents to become successful as well.

Les was introduced to World Marketing Alliance in 1997 and in a very short period of time of just one and a half years built the #9th largest MD Base Agency in the entire country.  This was also a significant accomplishment being that World Marketing Alliance had over 200,000 associates!

Realizing his potential he then took on the challenge in the year 2000 to build a new Broker/Dealer named United Securities Alliance. In a short 5 year period of time United Securities Alliance grew from being ranked as the 5,000th largest independent Broker/Dealer in terms of size of representatives to the # 49 th largest independent Broker/Dealer in the United States. Les's organization of United Securities Alliance represented over 70% of the growth and distribution of products sold. In the 5 year growth phase of the company Les was responsible for establishing over 50 branch offices nationwide.

After achieving such high levels of success with his previous companies Les started Retiring America n 2005.  Les had the vision that the industry of financial services was shifting away from securities based products to fixed guaranteed products and took on the challenge of building his own company from the ground up.

The last 5 years have been spent developing all of the necessary building blocks for the foundation phase of Retiring America. Les has achieved national recognition and has secured contracts with many of the top financial institutions in America giving the ability for the agents to represent and offer dozens of company's products to best suit the needs of the client.

In addition to having built the infrastructure needed for Retiring America to expand, Les also realized the need for his agents to have not just one, but several different marketing systems in order to achieve success in building their agencies.  These marketing systems have proven to be duplicatable and successful tools for the new agent as well as for industry professional to increase thier business and achieve six figure incomes.
